J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. (JECharlotte.com), a Venice-based construction company that provides a full range of services, recently began the 2,700-square-foot psychiatric unit expansion for Centerstone of Florida Inc., a not-for-profit organization that offers state of the art mental health and addictions care.
Slated for completion in August 2016, construction on the $540,000 project began this month. The construction management team will perform a complete renovation of the existing south wing of the former Manatee Glens campus, located at 2020 26th Ave. E. in Bradenton. The reconfiguration of the existing space will include four bedrooms, a dayroom, a café and an exterior mechanical equipment yard.
“We selected J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. because of the company’s reliable and honest reputation,” said Mary Ruiz, CEO of Centerstone Florida. “We trust their team to lead our hospital psychiatric unit expansion project. J.E. Charlotte has proven to be customer-oriented and together we will meet the needs of our community.”
