J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. revamps existing building for new craft beer business

J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. (JECharlotte.com), a Venice-based construction company that provides a full range of services, completed the renovation of the 1,600-square-foot home of Craft Growlers to Go and Tasting Room on Lakewood Ranch Main Street last month.

The existing building, formerly a bridal shop, was gutted and reconstructed by J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp., the general contractor on the project. The facelift included selective demolition and interior finishes to the building, including paint, stained concrete flooring, lighting, exposed ceilings, ductwork, electrical rework and a new office.

“The team at J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. did in two months what would take most builders four months to complete,” said owner Jeanne Dooley, a 30-year teaching golf professional. “They definitely were looking out for my best interests and even helped me save money when I didn’t need to spend it. I will definitely use them again for the next location!”

A retail craft beer store, Craft Growlers to Go and Tasting Room is the first growler shop in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. The new establishment opened its doors the first week in January.
