Jeb Bush Website Gets Trumped
A web address with the candidate's name redirects to the Trump campaign homepage.

Donald Trump is out to siphon every possible vote he can as former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s watches his campaign enter a near freefall.
At least it may seem that way to Bush supporters who mistakenly type www.JebBush.com into their web browsers in hopes of learning more about the Republican’s campaign. Instead of Bush’s campaign homepage, visitors are redirected right to Donald Trump’s campaign website where a smiling Donald and the slogan “Make America Great Again” greet visitors.
To be sure, Trump hasn’t hijacked Bush’s official campaign page. The redirect only applies to the JebBush.com site, not the official Jeb2016.com website that boasts a banner shot of the former governor in his younger years as the state’s leader.

The full story behind the redirect is not immediately clear, but it appears as if MarcoRubio.com, BenCarson.com and TedCruz.org have not been trumped, so to say. Interestingly, TedCruz.com doesn’t offer the candidate’s message or a redirect to a rival’s homepage. Instead, it has a two-line message that reads, “Support President Obama. Immigration Reform Now.”

Patch reached out to the Trump campaign for comment on the redirect, but hasn’t heard back yet.
While the Republican field remains rather fluid, Trump does hold a steady lead, the Huffington Post reported Monday. The businessman with no political experience is up 33.9 percent to Ben Carson’s 14.6 percent, according to Post. Cruz is in third place at 13.8 percent, despite polls that say he will come out on top in Iowa. He’s trailed by Macro Rubio at 13.7 percent and Jeb Bush at 4.5 percent. Chris Christie, Carly Fiorina, Rand Paul, John Kasich and Mike Huckabee are all running with under 3 percent support.
