July 9: St. Petersburg Downtown Neighborhood Association to host guest speaker Chris Steinocher at quarterly meeting
Open to the public, a town hall-style conversation with St. Pete's top business representative
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Chris Steinocher will speak and answer questions as a guest of the St. Petersburg Downtown Neighborhood Association (SPDNA) at the organization’s quarterly general/public meeting on Thursday, July 9.

Many say Chris has led a rejuvenation of the Chamber in the nearly four years he has been CEO, and he serves as an important voice in the affairs of St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay Region. Chris will address several important issues facing St. Pete, likely including and not limited to: Preservation, Economic Development, the Pier and Downtown Waterfront Master Plan, and the Rays.
Based on previous meetings, those in attendance will likely have many questions and comments.
Additionally, Councilman Karl Nurse and other officials often offer updates and take some questions.
The SPDNA is enhancing efforts to continue momentum of recent events and progress. Most recently, the organization launched a new website – StPeteDNA.org – with various resources and original content. Social media channels are also becoming more active. And more events are planned this year.
