Kappa Kappa Sorority Gives $3600 in Donations to Brandon Charities

Dedicated to helping children's charities in the Brandon area

On May 19, 2015, the Kappa Delta Phi Sorority presented checks to Center Place, Boy Scout Troop 111, Brandon Outreach Clinic, Make-A-Wish, Nativity Food Pantry, and Cards for the Troops. These funds are the result of fundraising efforts by the sorority over the past year. In keeping with tradition, these funds are donated to local Brandon charities, ensuring that our community partners receive the support they deserve.

Kappa Delta Phi Sorority was founded in 1925 by Nan T. McCue. She and 35 other women were seeking a way to combine their social life with civic work. KDP is incorporated under the laws of the State of Kentucky, and a certificate was granted to Alpha Alpha Chapter of Louisville, Kentucky on November 4, 1925.

Today, chapters around the country continue to be inspired by these women. We believe in a higher power and the bonds of sisterhood. The sorority is seeking new members who wish to be involved with their community and raise funds for children’s charities through social activities such as Bunco and Bingo nights, garage sales, etc. Please contact Kay Garcia at 813-741-0664.
