Man Shot In Head Near St. Pete Convenience Store: Reports
A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after being shot in the head, St. Pete police said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A man was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after being shot in the head near a convenience store, according to multiple reports.
The shooting happened just after 5 p.m. near the 900 block of 16th Street South, Tampa Bay 28 reported.
The victim was found seriously injured at the scene and brought to a nearby hospital, Fox 13 reported.

Witnesses told investigators that the suspect "may have gone into the Citrus Grove Apartment complex a couple of blocks away,” according to WTSP.
As of Thursday morning, the suspect wasn’t taken into custody, reports said. There’s no information about what led to the shooting.
