Motorcyclist Killed In St. Pete Crash Identified
The St. Petersburg man was killed in a Sunday morning accident on 6th Street South near 42nd Avenue South.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department has identified the man killed during a Sunday morning motorcycle crash on 6th Street South near 42nd Avenue South.
According to the agency, Nathaniel Allen, 26, of St. Petersburg was heading southbound on 6th Street South around 2:18 a.m. Sunday, nearing 42nd Avenue South, when he lost control of his Honda motorcycle.
Police say Allen veered left and struck a curb. When he did, he was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a pole, an email from the police department said.

Allen was taken to Bayfront Health, but died from his injuries.
No further information is being released at this time.
