Neal Communities Hires Geib

Neal Communities (www.nealcommunities.com), southwest Florida’s most experienced homebuilder for over 40 years, recently hired Roger Geib as a controller.

Originally from Port Charlotte, Fla., Geib has over 14 years of experience in public and private accounting. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s overall accounting operations, including hiring and training accounting personnel and managing department functions as well as implementing and maintaining accounting software systems and internal control procedures with vendors.

Prior to joining Neal Communities, Geib spent five years as the controller for the retail division of Airgas, Inc., one of the nation’s leading single-source suppliers of gases, welding equipment and supplies and safety products. Prior to that, he spent three years as the assistance controller for two national homebuilders.

Geib’s career began in public accounting performing attestation, tax and advisory services for non-public companies in the Tampa Bay area. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida and has been an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2001.
