New Style of Police T-Shirt on Sale
A new version of the popular black, cotton T-shirts will be sold starting today at the police station downtown.

ST. PETERSBURG – A new style of the popular police memorial T-shirts will go on sale today honoring the three St. Petersburg officers killed in the line of duty in 2011.
The cotton T-shirt, with a black background, recognizes Sgt. Thomas Baitinger, K-9 Officer Jeffrey Yaslowitz and Officer David Crawford. All thee officers were fatally shot while responding to calls.
On the front left breast of the T-shirt is a SPPD badge with the thin blue line;
written underneath is "Fallen Heroes."Â On the back will be the National Law
Enforcement Memorial Logo with SPPD and the officers' radio call signs.
The left sleeve will have a Suncoast PBA logo, as the PBA is providing financial support to fund the project.
Shirts will be $15 each.
Proceeds from the sales of shirts will go to support the families of the officer and financial support for SPPD officers to attend the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C. in May 2012.
Shirts will be on sale in the breezeway near the front lobby of the St.
Petersburg Police Department on Friday from 11-7, Saturday from 5-9 and Sunday from noon-4.
