Pedestrian Killed In St. Pete Crash

St. Petersburg, FL — A 64-year-old man was killed in a Tuesday night pedestrian crash along 34th Street North.

According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, Kendra Thompson, 31, was heading north on 34th Street North around 9:35 p.m. in a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe, approaching 33rd Avenue North. At that time, a man was crossing east to west on 34th Street North.

Police say Thompson’s vehicle struck the man, throwing him into the roadway. The man, who has not been identified by police, died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
