Pinellas County Government Offices To Close For Fourth Of July
Pinellas County government offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

PINELLAS COUNTY. FL -- Pinellas County government offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
County parks, boat ramps, beach access areas and the Florida Botanical Gardens will remain open. However Parks and Conservation Resources administrative offices will be closed and beach and boat ramp passes will not be available for sale.
The outdoor areas of the county’s preserves will be open, but the Brooker Creek Environmental Education Center, Weedon Island Cultural and Natural History Center and Heritage Village will not.

The Solid Waste Disposal Facility will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, the Solid Waste Administration Building and Household Electronics and Chemical collection center (HEC3 Facility) will be closed.
All human services and veterans services offices will be closed, as will the offices and adoption center at Animal Services.

The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session Wednesday except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.
All Pinellas County facilities will resume regular hours of operation on Thursday, July 5.
St. Petersburg
Some St. Petersburg city facilities will be closed to the public on Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4. During the holiday week of July 2 to 6, there are no changes to garbage and recycling collection days for St. Petersburg residential customers.
In observance of the holiday, St. Petersburg city government facilities closed to the public July 4 include City Hall and Municipal Services Center downtown, community libraries, recreation centers, the Coliseum, Enoch Davis Center, Jamestown Apartments-Townhomes office and Dwight H. Jones Neighborhood Center, Mahaffey Theater Duke Energy Center for the Arts, Sunshine Center and Sunken Gardens' business office.
City facilities open to the public on Wednesday, July 4 include:
Boyd Hill Nature Preserve
Three city golf courses (Mangrove Bay, Cypress Links, and Twin Brooks);
Municipal beach concession stand (Treasure Island);
Municipal Marina Ship’s Store;
North Shore Aquatic Complex and eight neighborhood pools;
Sanitation Department Brush Sites; and
Sunken Gardens' attraction.
