The St. Petersburg man has been arrested on five other occasions for similar offenses since March, police say.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 21-year-old man St. Petersburg Police describe as a serial burglar may want to find a new line of work.
According to police, he was arrested on Tuesday by officers who just happened to catch him in the act of committing a burglary at a home in the 1900 block of 22nd Avenue South. Tuesday’s arrest on residential burglary charges wasn’t a first for Donnell Weaver, the police department noted in an email to media. He’s been arrested on five separate occasions for the crime since March 16, the department said.
“Each time he bonds out and re-offends,” the email said.
