St. Pete Shooting: Search for Suspect Under Way
Breaking: St. Petersburg Police say a man was shot early Monday afternoon. A search for the shooter remains active.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — St. Petersburg Police officers are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a Monday afternoon shooting.
According to the agency, police learned about the shooting in the 3600 block of 16th Avenue South just after noon. A 24-year-old man, police say, was shot outside of that address.
The victim, who is not being identified, was taken to Bayfront Health in critical condition.

Police say the shooting is not believed to be random. An active search for the shooter was ongoing Monday afternoon.
