St. Pete Woman Dies Of Injuries After Being Struck By Stolen Car
A 46-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained after the PT Cruiser in which she was a passenger was struck by a stolen car.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- A 46-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained after the PT Cruiser in which she was a passenger was struck by a stolen car.
Yalanda Speights died Dec. 1 at noon of the injuries she received in the crash on Nov. 24.
Around 2:40 p.m., police responded to a crash at the intersection of 18th Avenue South and 25th Street South involving a PT Cruiser and a stolen Hyundai Sonata. A passerby flagged down a police officer, saying that one of the men in the Hyundai was pointing a gun.

The Hyundai then fled the scene at a high speed on 18th Avenue South but police caught up with the car, arresting the 20-year-old driver, Carl McKinley, and passengers Lazarius Faulk, 19, Clifford Washington, 19, and Jaquez Rouse, 18.
The driver of the PT Cruiser, Speights' mother, Mae Speights, 61, has been released from the hospital.
