ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is asking Tampa Bay area residents to keep an eye out for a boy who has been reported missing.

According to the agency, Cameron Minter, 11, was last seen Thursday afternoon around 3 p.m. He stands about 4 feet, 3 inches in height and weighs an estimated 73 pounds. Police say he was wearing a gray T-shirt with a manatee on the front and blue jeans when he disappeared.
“Our detectives have been actively searching for him,” the police department wrote in an email to media. “They are also blanketing the area with flyers. While he does not qualify for an Amber Alert, we want to locate him as quickly as possible.”

Officers say Cameron might be in St. Petersburg’s Campbell Park area.
Anyone who sees Cameron is asked to call the police department at 727-893-7780 and reference case No. 2016-018894.
