St. Petersburg Senior Hall Of Fame Nominations Now Open
Shine a light on senior volunteers throughout Pinellas County at the annual Senior Hall of Fame.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The City of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department shine a light on senior volunteers throughout Pinellas County at the annual Senior Hall of Fame.
St. Petersburg, FL (March 2020) – Nominations for the annual Senior Hall of Fame, hosted by the St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department, are now open. The awards ceremony honors senior volunteers, age 62 and older, who dedicate their time to enriching the community. Nominees must be residents of Pinellas County and have dedicated exemplary service benefiting the residents of St. Petersburg.
To submit a nomination for someone you know as an active senior volunteer in the community, visit www.stpeteparksrec.org/seniorawards. Online submission and mail-in submission are available. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, March 27.

This year’s Senior Hall of Fame awards ceremony is held at a new location, the Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Dr. NE, St. Petersburg, on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. Honorable mentions will receive a gift. Inductees will receive a certificate and prize and will be honored at a City Council meeting with a Key to the City. A reception following the awards ceremony will include entertainment, beverages and hors d’oeuvres. To RSVP to the awards ceremony, contact the Sunshine Senior Center at 727-893-7101. The ceremony is free and open to the public.
