Vandals Targeted St. Pete School, Police Say
A private school had three of its buildings defaced with racially, politically and sexually charged graffiti, St. Petersburg Police say.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is looking for help finding the person or people responsible for giving a local private school an unwanted paint job overnight Thursday.
According to the agency, officers were called to the School of Immaculata, 4265 13th Ave. N., around 7:46 a.m. Friday. When they arrived, they found three of the private school’s buildings covered in graffiti.
The unknown “vandals spray-painted political, racist and sexist words and images on three of the school’s buildings,” the department explained in an email to media.

With no available surveillance video of the crime, police are asking anyone with information about the vandal or vandals to come forward. The number to call is 727-893-7780.
Police did not elaborate on the precise words or images painted on the buildings.
