Wandering Child Reunited With Parents

Pinellas County deputies say they've found the parents of the little boy found wandering in a mobile home park Wednesday morning.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The little boy found wandering in an unincorporated St. Petersburg mobile home park Wednesday morning has been identified.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, the boy’s parents have also been located.

The 3-year-old was found by a resident of the King of the Road Mobile Home Park around 1 a.m. Wednesday. Deputies say the boy was wearing a T-shirt and a diaper while walking the grounds of the 5701 Haines Road park.

An investigation into the incident remains active, but deputies say “the child wandered a short distance from his residence and there is no initial indication of foul play,” an email from the agency said.
