Waterscapes Pools and Spas sees major growth in 2015

Waterscapes Pools & Spas (WaterscapesPools.com), one of southwest Florida's largest residential and commercial pool builders and a subsidiary company of Neal Communities, saw significant growth in 2015 and is planning on an even larger increases in 2016.

Waterscapes increased its sales by 43 percent in 2015, selling 459 pools compared with 320 pools sold in 2014.

Sales outpaced company projections, and Waterscapes President John Collier said Waterscapes’ plan is to increase sales in 2016.

“Home sales really accelerated the number of pools we were able to sell last year,” Collier said. “As a Neal company, we build all of the pools for Neal Communities’ homes, but we also build pools and spas for several other national and regional homebuilders, along with homeowners themselves.”

Collier also attributes Waterscapes’ growth to the company’s expansion south into Lee and Collier counties and its expansion north into Hillsborough County.

Waterscapes has already been honored with several awards for excellence in 2016. The company won two Reader’s Choice First Place awards for Best Local Pool Builder from the Sarasota Herald-Tribune – one for Manatee and one for Sarasota.

Waterscapes was also given three honors by the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association’s 2016 Parade of Homes. The company won Best Overall awards for the Silver Mist 2 model pool at the Silverleaf community in Parrish, the Barbados II model pool at the Highfield community in Lakewood Ranch and the Dominica II model pool at The Concession in Bradenton.
