Where To Find Largest 'National Night Out' Event In Pinellas County

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – Pinellas County's largest "National Night Out" event will be held in the Target parking lot at 7150 U.S. Highway 19 North in Pinellas Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2.
The annual evening is a community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, better places to live. The goal is to send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and responding to crime.
In Pinellas Park, there will be displays from local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, and demonstrations by police and fire crews, plus music, games and prizes.

In its 33rd year, the National Night Out movement has brought together 38 million neighbors in 16,000 communities from all 50 states, United States territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide, according to organizers.
