White Lexus Sought In Pinellas County Crash
A woman from Texas was injured in the Thursday afternoon crash on Interstate 275.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for help identifying a motorist troopers believe may be responsible for causing an injury crash on Interstate 275 in Pinellas County Thursday evening.
According to a patrol report, a vehicle, believed to be a white Lexus, was heading north on Interstate 275 around 6:44 p.m. The car was traveling in the inside lane approaching the Pinellas Bayway. At that time, a 2002 Honda CRV, driven by Mylkia Cummings, 29, of Bradenton was also traveling north in the inside lane, behind the Lexus.
The Lexus’ driver, troopers said, changed lanes in front of Cummings’ Honda. Cummings steered away from the Lexus and left the road. Her car went onto the east shoulder and struck a concrete barrier wall.

The Lexus, the report said, kept traveling north without stopping.
Cummings suffered minor injuries and was taken to Bayfront Health for treatment. Her passenger, Johneyece Cummings, 23, of Killeen, Texas, was seriously injured and was also transported to Bayfront, the report said.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the highway patrol at 813-631-4020. Troopers say the only description of the other car involved is that it is believed to have been a white Lexus passenger car.
