Woman Shot On Way Home From Church
St. Petersburg Police are investigating the Sunday night incident.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 59-year-old St. Petersburg woman was injured in a Sunday night shooting that unfolded along 15th Avenue South and 42nd Street.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, Lagloria Johnson was with a group of friends, riding home from church, when someone fired several shots at their car.
One of the bullets, an email from police said, struck Johnson in the arm.

Johnson was taken to Bayfront Health for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury, police said. No one else in the car was injured.
Police say there is no known motive at this time.
