Yellow Strawberry travels to prominent conference in Boca Raton

Yellow Strawberry (YellowStrawberryHair.com), a boutique salon in Sarasota and Manatee counties, recently attended the prominent and exclusive Intercoiffure America/Canada Spring Atelier 2016 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, Fla.

During the three-day conference from April 16 – 18, Yellow Strawberry’s co-owners Richard Weintraub and Desmond and Caroline Behan were joined by six of the salon’s stylists. The team was exposed to unique hands-on and business classes taught by some of the top internationally and nationally known artists in the industry, including stylist to the stars Ted Gibson.

Spring Atelier 2016’s featured classes spanned from the latest trends and techniques in hair color and cutting to skin cancer awareness for beauty professionals.

“There was tremendous value in this year’s Spring Atelier by Intercoiffure America/Canada,” said Weintraub, a master stylist of over 40 years and a member of the prestigious organization since 1979. “Our team gleaned information on the latest from the industry’s foremost professionals about the future of color, the newest technology in customer service and data on the Millennials. These educational opportunities benefit our stylists and the salon’s customers, helping them deliver a one-of-a-kind experience.”

The team learned about the future of hair color – airbrush color, a technique developed to airbrush color onto the hair. With this effect, there is little to no hard lines and is a more natural way of blending shades and tones of color.

Intercoiffure America/Canada is the most powerful and influential organization in the hair dressing industry.
