• Tamarac Crime Blotter: Backpack Robbery at Shopping Center Leaves Victim Without Wallet (tamaractalk.com) — Tamarac deputies handled a busy week of calls from Aug. 11–17, including a backpack robbery at a shopping center, several vehicle burglaries, fraud and identity theft cases, and an auto theft at Tamarac Village. The blotter also lists multiple arrests on charges ranging from drug possession and criminal mischief to kidnapping and domestic battery, giving residents a clear snapshot of recent public-safety concerns.
