Gloria will be remembered for her independent and caring spirit as well as her optimism and determination. She was a woman of many talents and enjoyed jewelry making, painting and writing. She volunteered in literacy programs and was active with local multiple sclerosis support groups.
Gloria loved and surrounded herself with beautiful things. She loved the beach, and the ocean brought her much joy. She also made many lifelong friends. She loved to get “all gussied up” and go to lunch with the girls. She had an infectious laugh and a vibrant personality. She will be greatly missed and also remembered for her courage and fortitude.
A service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The family would like to thank the staff at Chandler’s Square, Island Hospital and Hospice of the Northwest, as well as Gloria’s private caregivers.
