• Tarpon Springs could soon crack down on e-bikes downtown. What to know (tampabay.com) — Tarpon Springs leaders are close to banning riding e-bikes, scooters, and regular bikes on sidewalks in key downtown, Sponge Docks, and Craig Park areas, requiring riders to walk them instead. The ordinance, already approved on first reading, would use signs, outreach, and small fines, and could expand during events like First Friday and Hippie Fest once it receives final approval.
