Man Who Shot at Officer's Accused Shooter Arrested
Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies say he's the man that fired on Marco Parilla Sunday morning.

A 24-year-old Tarpon Springs man is behind bars after Pinellas County Sheriffβs deputies say he fired shots at the person who shot at Officer Charles Kondek Sunday morning.
Since news of the officerβs slaying broke, deputies have said there was third shooter. While Parilla is accused of slaying Kondek, Jareem Roach now stands accused of firing his gun at Parilla, The Tampa Tribune reported.
The incident unfolded around 2 a.m. Sunday when Kondek responded to a noise complaint call. Parilla, deputies say, was banging on doors in the Glenβs Eureka apartment complex, looking for the person who βdimed him outβ on a violation of probation charge.

Roach, it seems, thought Parilla was there to confront him, so he fired shots at the man.
Roach was arrested Monday night in New Port Richey.

He was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
Roach was arrested in 2009 in Hillsborough County on a number of charges, including armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and carrying a concealed firearm, Hillsborough County Jail records indicate.
Roach had not been fully processed in the Pinellas County Jail as of Tuesday morning.
