• First PSTA Ferry Arrives in Pinellas as Tampa Bay Service Moves Closer to Launch (patch.com) — Tarpon Springs is taking center stage in Tampa Bay's new cross-bay ferry project as the first vessel, the Bay Breeze, arrives at Tarpon Marine Service for refurbishment and inspection. Local maritime businesses are expected to benefit from months of work on two ferries, while city leaders say the project will bring ongoing economic activity as the service links downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa later this year.
