Police Play Pros in Charity Football Game
The Tampa Bay Sentinels, which is a full contact football team comprised of law enforcement and other first responders, play the Tampa Bay Storm for charity.

Mike Trill of the Tarpon Springs Police Department is set to square off against some professional football players for a good cause.
The Tampa Bay Sentinels, a member of the National Public Safety Football League, play theΒ Tampa Bay Storm, of the Arena Football League, inΒ the third annual charity flag football game. This year, money raised at the game benefitsΒ the MacDonald Training Center.
"Whenever you have a chance to entertain and give back to the community, it'sΒ a great thing," said vice president of football operations Jeff Gooch in a press release. "WeΒ are all looking forward to getting out there, playing some football, andΒ having fun with our local heroes."

Trill is a linebacker for the Sentinels, which is comprised of other law enforcement, first responders and military members fromΒ the Tampa Bay area.
The Sentinels are part of the National Public Safety Football League, a full contact league that has teams made up of public safety officers from around theΒ country.

The past two years, the teams have played a charity game to benefit the Kocab Curtis Foundations and Fallen Firefighter SurvivorsΒ Foundation.
"We are pleased that the Storm andΒ SentinelsΒ will once again play aΒ fun-filled, family-friendly, game of football to benefit the MacDonaldΒ Training Center and support our community," saidΒ SentinelsΒ general manager,Β Rex Sano, in a release.
