• Intoxicated homeless woman arrested after disturbance at hotel in The Villages (villages-news.com) — Police were called to the Comfort Inn & Suites on Avenida Central in The Villages after an intoxicated woman allegedly created a loud disturbance in the lobby and nearby parking lot. Officers say she appeared drunk, used offensive language, and refused to calm down, leading to her arrest on a disorderly intoxication charge and booking into the Lake County Jail.
• Homeowner has wrong color shingles on villa in The Villages (villages-news.com) — A St. James villa on Loadstar Avenue has been ruled out of compliance because its new roof shingles don’t match the original approved color for The Villages community. Owners James and Mary Lyn Dost now have 45 days to correct the roof or face $50 daily fines, highlighting how closely deed restrictions and ARC approvals are enforced here.
