CityPlace Community Block Party: An Evening of Fun (miamionthecheap.com) — CityPlace's north end in West Palm Beach will turn into a pedestrian-only block party on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m., with live music, family activities, and brand experiences. Admission is free, parking validations are included, and part of the proceeds will support the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts.

2. West Palm Beach rolls out a $1 all-electric downtown ride (wpbf.com) — Downtown West Palm Beach now has a $1 all‑electric shuttle, West Palm Move, running every 8–10 minutes between the Norton Museum and Northwood Village. The fixed route is already operating, with a $2 on‑demand app-based service starting Sept. 15, aiming to ease congestion and give residents and visitors a cheaper alternative to driving and parking.

Radical Architecture in West Palm Beach: 25-Story Tower Shares Ocean Views Equally (freeyork.org) — A new 25‑story MiMar Tower planned for West Palm Beach aims to give every resident at least a glimpse of the ocean through a zigzag facade inspired by Miami Art Deco. Built above the historic Datura Fire Station, it will mix affordable and market‑rate units, share amenities across income levels, and use a hybrid timber‑concrete structure to fit into downtown's character.
