Wells Fargo volunteers joined Habitat for Humanity GPBC

Recently, during the latest Wells Fargo Welcome Home event, nearly 150 volunteers helped Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County repair and revitalize five sites in Delray Beach. Wells Fargo employees came out with tools in hand to help four existing homes in the area receive new landscaping and painting and do a beautification project at the Village Academy School.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County received a $45,000 grant to invest in this community. The funds helped refresh four homes and the school in the Delray Beach neighborhood as part of the nonprofit’s Neighborhood Engagement program. Nearly 150 Wells Fargo volunteers participated and invested over 500 hours in volunteer labor.

This activity is part of Wells Fargo’s third annual Welcome Home initiative. Through this month-long volunteer event, Wells Fargo employees are teaming up with local charities to help create more accessible and affordable homes and communities.
