• Wildwood man dies in U.S. 301 crash in Sumter County (dailycommercial.com) — An 18-year-old man from Wildwood died late Monday after his pickup crossed the center line on U.S. 301 in Sumter County and struck another truck nearly head-on. Troopers say the other driver, from Webster, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim’s name has not yet been released as the investigation continues.
