• 71-year-old man dies after alligator attack in Winter Garden (wpbf.com) — A 71-year-old Winter Park man, Steven Hamilton, died after a roughly 12-foot alligator attacked him while he was fishing at Dr. Bradford Memorial Park in nearby Winter Garden. Authorities killed the alligator, are continuing to investigate, and urge residents with concerns about gators to contact the state’s Nuisance Alligator Hotline or Winter Garden police with any witness information.
