Local Scout Leader Launches “Cobbler 'n Coals” to Bring Outdoor Education and Campfire Heritage to the Community

For Timothy “Mr. Tim” Fore, the lessons learned around a campfire are just as vital as those taught in a classroom. A long-time Scouting volunteer, Fore is officially launching Cobbler 'n Coals, a digital education brand dedicated to preserving the art of outdoor cooking and fostering a deeper appreciation for Florida’s natural landscapes.

While the digital landscape is filled with cooking tutorials, Cobbler 'n Coals takes a different approach. The brand functions as a comprehensive curriculum, blending technical campfire cooking masterclasses—such as coal management and Dutch oven proficiency—with a series of guided outdoor explorations. Through his signature "Sundays with Skillet" cooking segments and "A Hike with Lucas" nature series, Fore provides viewers with more than just recipes; he offers a philosophy of leadership, mentorship, and community stewardship.

“The mission is about more than just a well-cooked meal,” says Fore. “It’s about the quiet lessons that take place in the woods. It’s about teaching the next generation the skills to stand up strong, the value of disconnecting from the static of the city, and the importance of being stewards of the land we share.”

The brand emphasizes the "CARE" planning method, encouraging families and scout troops to approach their outdoor excursions with intentionality, preparedness, and respect for nature.
