1 Dead, 1 Injured In Head-On GA Crash: Reports
The crash happened after GA authorities issued a BOLO alert for the Civic that had been driving on the wrong side of the road, reports say.
LIBERTY COUNTY, GA — A head-on crash killed a woman and injured a second person Sunday near Liberty County High School, media reports say.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 84/GA-38 and John Martin Road, WJCL reported, citing the Georgia State Patrol.
A 2016 Honda Civic, driven by 20-year-old Allenhurst resident Kortney Jackson, hit a 2025 Genesis GV70 head-on, the media outlet reported.

According to WSAV, authorities issued a be-on-the-lookout alert regarding the Civic that had been driving on the wrong side of the road.
Jackson was taken to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, where she was reportedly pronounced dead.

The driver of the Genesis was injured and taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, reports say. His condition was unknown Monday.
