2 Dead, 5 Injured In GA Easter Shooting: GBI
State authorities say several shots were fired from a vehicle Sunday, killing two people and injuring five others.
DUBLIN, GA — Two people died, and five others were injured, in an Easter morning shooting in Dublin, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.
Authorities responded around 2 a.m. Sunday to the 500 block of West Avenue, where the passengers of a vehicle were accused of shooting multiple times from the vehicle.
The GBI said Miyori Ellington, 23, and Sacred Brown, 24, both of Dublin, were pronounced dead at the scene. Five other people were shot and taken to a hospital, the GBI said.

As of Sunday, four people remained in the hospital, the GBI said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and a motive is unknown.

The GBI asks anyone with information in the case to call its regional investigative office in Eastman, (478) 374-6988, or the Dublin Police Department, (478) 275-0803. Anonymous tipsters can call 1 (800) 597-8477.
Once the GBI case file is complete, it will be given to the Dublin Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for review.
