GA Home Heating Assistance To Help Alleviate Costs
Applications for the state program will soon open to help Georgians with heating their homes during the 2023-24 winter season.
GEORGIA — Funding will soon be available to Georgians to help with the costs of heating their homes during the winter, the Georgia Department of Human Services said Wednesday.
Applications will start being accepted on Dec. 1 for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program to benefit both homeowners and renters during the 2023-24 winter season.
According to human services, the funding will help with "the costs associated with heating their homes through direct payments to home energy suppliers."
