GA Polls Open For Early Voting In Municipal Races
Early voting in local Georgia races is open until Nov. 3, four days before Election Day.
GEORGIA — Early voters are heading to the polls Monday to make their selections in the municipal elections across Georgia, where a number of mayoral and city council candidates are on the ballots.
Early voting will take place until Nov. 3, with Election Day being held on Nov. 7 for the general election. Residents can learn where early voting is taking place by visiting their local elections office website.
The voter registration deadline in Georgia was Oct. 10 for the general municipal and special election, as well as and the runoff election, per Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office.

- A person who is a citizen of the U.S.
- A person who is a legal resident of their county.
- A person who is at least age 17 1/2 to register and age 18 to vote.
- A person who is not serving a sentence for conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude.
- A person who has not been found mentally incompetent by a judge.
Important dates to know
- Oct. 16: In-person and absentee early voting starts for the general election
- Oct. 21 and Oct. 28: Saturday voting available for the general election
- Oct. 27: Last day to request an absentee ballot for the general election
- Nov. 7: Election Day
- Dec. 5: Special election runoff
