GA Senate Runoff: Early Voting Starts, Absentee Ballot Requests End
Voters have through Monday, Nov. 28, to request an absentee ballot and through Dec. 2 to early vote in the U.S. Senate runoff in Georgia.
GEORGIA — Monday marked the first day of early voting for the entire state and the last day to request an absentee ballot application for the Dec. 6 runoff between U.S. Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock and his opponent Herschel Walker.
Warnock is once again facing Walker in the race for the U.S. Senate after neither candidate reached the required 50 percent plus one vote threshold in the Nov. 8 general election. The Georgia race is pivotal to determine the party balance in the national senate.
Early voting in the runoff ends Dec. 2.

Voters should check with their local elections office to determine which precincts are available for early voting.
There will be no early voting on Dec. 3-5, according to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office.

Anyone who is registered to vote in Georgia is eligible to participate in the runoff. People had until Nov. 7 to register to vote in the runoff.
Absentee ballots need to be returned by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Find more information here on how to request and return absentee ballots.
