GEORGIA — Gov. Brian Kemp has extended the statewide gas tax suspension and state of emergency until 11:59 p.m., Nov. 11, according to a news release from his office Friday.
The initial order was set to expire on Oct. 12.
“Our state's average gas price is now roughly 40 cents less than it was last month," Kemp said in the release. "With our partners in the General Assembly, we'll keep working to put money back in the pockets of Georgia families."
