Georgia Ranked 5th Most 'Sinful' State: Study
Georgia is jealous and lusty, according to the study, but is the least greedy state in the nation.

Georgia ranked as the fifth most sinful state in the country, according to a recent study done by WalletHub. The study looked at many factors, ranking each state in how prevalent each "sin" is there.
Each of the 50 states were ranked in: anger and hatred, jealousy, excesses and vices, greed, lust, vanity and laziness. Georgia was ranked the least greedy state, but took second place in both jealousy and lust.
Florida took the top spot, ranking first in jealousy, fourth in vanity and had other "high" marks. The least sinful state in the country is Vermont, according to the study, even though the state experiences the worst drug use.

New England and parts of the Midwest are noticeably less sinful than most of the country, as opposed to the south and west, which ranked consistently higher. Overall, the southern half of the country ranked higher than the north.
Lust was measured, among other factors, by the average time spent on adult entertainment websites and vanity was partly based on how many beauty salons exist per capita.
