I-85 Crash On GA-AL Border Leaves Multiple Dead
Authorities said the fatal Alabama crash impacted Georgia traffic Monday.

CHAMBERS COUNTY, ALABAMA — A crash Monday on Interstate 85 south along the Georgia/Alabama line claimed the lives of multiple people, Channel 2 Action News reported.
The Troup County Sheriff's Office said though the crash happened in Alabama, the Georgia Department of Transportation provided assistance as Georgia traffic was impacted near West Point.
Authorities said traffic was diverted from Exit 6, Kia Boulevard in Georgia, meaning drivers could not return to the interstate until Exit 77 in Alabama.
