A Floyd County man put his grandmother into a freezer while she was still alive last year, according to a local news report.

ARMUCHEE, GA — A Floyd County man put his grandmother into a freezer while she was still alive last year, according to records published by the Rome News-Tribune.
Law enforcement officials arrested Robert Keith Tincher III, 29, on Thursday. He is in Floyd County Jail on charges of murder, aggravated battery, and concealing the death of another, jail records show.
Investigators say that after Tincher's 82-year-old grandmother fell last year, he put her inside plastic bags, dragged her through the home, and put her in the freezer, the report said.

Tincher was accused of planning to kill his ex-wife in 2018, and still faces felony charges of terroristic threats and acts in connection with that investigation, according to the Rome News-Tribune.
