Person Of Interest In Nathan Millard Death Sought By Police
Millard, a father from Covington, was in Baton Rouge on a business trip when he was reported missing and later found dead.

BATON ROUGE, LA — Police in Baton Rouge are searching for a person they hope to question about the death of Nathan Millard, a missing Georgia man who was found dead in Louisiana last week.
Baton Rouge police identified Derrick Perkins, 45, as a possible person of interest in the case, according to a Facebook post. Perkins is also wanted on several other charges including a probation violation, criminal damage to property, access device fraud and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Perkins was last seen in the South Baton Rouge area driving a 2003 Toyota Camry, police said.

Millard, 42, of Covington, was in Baton Rouge on a business trip when he went missing. He was found dead on March 6 in the 2900 block of Scenic Highway, police said. His cause of death is unknown.
According to Texas EquuSearch, video footage shows Millard leaving the Courtyard Marriott on 3rd Street and Florida Avenue. The nonprofit said Millard visited Happy Irish's Pub on 3rd and Convention streets and left the pub around 11:3o p.m. as he walked back to his hotel.

Texas EquuSearch said his phone and wallet were found several blocks away from the hotel.
Police are investigating his death and did not release further details.
