Undocumented Man Accused Of Raping GA Girl In Front Of Sister

ICE has put an arrest hold on a Mexican national accused of raping an 11-year-old GA girl and holding her 10-year-old sister at knifepoint.

BULLOCH COUNTY, GA — Immigration authorities have put an arrest hold on a jailed Mexican national they say raped an 11-year-old girl and held her 10-year-old sister at knifepoint.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Tuesday said an arrest detainer was issued for Kenneth Moreno Guzman, a 26-year-old man they accused of unlawfully being in the U.S.

The incident took place during a home invasion the morning of Jan. 12, the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office said.

Guzman was accused of "forcibly" breaking into the back door of the home and raping the girl while her sister was in the room and being held at knifepoint.

He was arrested three days later on charges of rape, statutory rape, aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, first-degree cruelty towards children, first-degree home invasion, 10 counts of possession of a knife during the commission of a crime, false imprisonment, burglary and two counts of aggravated assault with a knife, authorities said.

ICE says this was not Guzman's first encounter with law enforcement. Statesboro deputies previously arrested him on March 8, 2023 after he was accused of driving without a license and registration, ICE said.

The federal authorities added Guzman was removed after unlawfully entering the U.S. in 2016. He later re-entered the U.S. unlawfully once more, ICE said.
