Evidence for Faith: Dealing with Doubts and Answering Skeptics

Are you dealing with doubts about the existence of God and the veracity of the Gospels? Are there "skeptics" in your life that you don't know how to answer?

On Palm Sunday this year (April 17) we showed a video interview in our services here at NorthStar Church that dealt with the existence of God. In the video, entitled "K(NO)W GOD," CNN's (and NorthStar's) Mike Galanos interviewed another NorthStar member, Steve Miller. They discussed some powerful ideas concerning some pretty big questions: Does God really exist? Does science rule out the possibility of God creating the world? Is God, as Richard Dawkins says, an illusion?

This month we're following up that special service with the Spiritual Growth Seminar "EVIDENCE FOR FAITH: Dealing with Doubts and Answering Skeptics." Steve Miller returns, along with Chris Boggess (creative and visual arts director on staff at NorthStar). Both Miller and Boggess have studied the evidences of Christianity and the arguments against God. This seminar will lay out a basic case for Christianity and will offer plenty of time for questions and answers.

The seminar will be offered at our Kennesaw campus (3413 Blue Springs Rd, Kennesaw, GA 30144) this Sunday, May 15. You can choose between two seminar times: 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. The seminar will take place in the Conference Room of our Compass building.

Or attend the seminar the following Sunday, May 22, at our new Dallas campus (currently meeting at New Hope Education Center, 4555 Dallas-Acworth Hwy., Dallas, GA 30132). The seminar starts at 9:30 a.m. in room 112.
