Demolition crews are working to take down the Tower at in Acworth. This will make room for a new entrance to Building A and a 3,700-square-foot student center area where students will be able to congregate, study, socialize and just hang out. Plans for the renovation were finalized in early spring and the project should be completed next year. Prime Contractors Inc. of Douglasville is demolishing and renovating the campus for $830,000. Funds for the project came from the school's FY10 budget.
