Recently, the Marietta location of Red Bandanna Pet Food, located at 3600 Dallas Hwy, held a customer appreciation event to celebrate the store’s renovations, including new paint, redone flooring and additional shelving and slat wall. The event featured multiple vendors giving away free samples, product coupons and pet care advice. Vendors include Rusty’s Bakery (Red Bandanna’s new bakery offering homemade, all-natural pet treats), Stella & Chewy’s, Taste of the Wild, Weruva, Nature’s Variety and others. Also, Red Bandanna gave away free bag clips, Frisbees, bandanas, pens and more emblazoned with the company logo.
The event also served as an opportunity for customers to meet animals up for adoption from two local non-profit rescue groups—one for dogs and one for cats—You Lucky Dog Rescue and Good Mews. You Lucky Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of homeless and abandoned dogs from the high-kill shelters of North Georgia. To learn more, visit www.youluckydogrescue.org. Red Bandanna Pet Food is a local 13-store chain of one-stop shops providing top-quality pet food, supplements, treats, chews, shampoos, accessories and toys for dogs and cats. Several of the stores also feature self-wash grooming stations and treats from Rusty’s Bakery, homemade by Chef Tisha Garcia. Rusty’s Bakery offers handcrafted, all-natural pet treats or “paw-stries” starting in price at $4.99 for a baker’s dozen. Though the confections are currently only cooked at the Roswell location (and then distributed to the other stores), future plans include additional store build-outs as well as a bakery at the corporate office of Red Bandanna, also located in Roswell.
