Lawn Maintenance Class Coming to Cobb County Extension
Thursday's class will provide information about growing and maintaining a healthy lawn of fescue grass.
The University of Georgia’s Cobb County Cooperative Extension is hosting a free class about fescue lawns on Aug. 21 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
According to the extension’s blog, Cobb County Horticulture Agent Neil Tarver will be at the extension on 678 South Cobb Drive in Marietta teaching attendees the proper techniques for seeding, overseeding, and maintenance of fescue lawns.
The event is free, but attendees are asked to register ahead of time by calling 770-528-4070, or emailing Cornelius.tarver@cobbcounty.org.
